In Graziella’s studio: composition and inspiration
I first take pictures from which I can chose and define the type of painting which will correspond best to the topic, either a portrait layout, landscape or square. After the charcoal drawing, I try several technics, either oil or acrylics. If I prefer painting with oil, I feel freer with acrylics. Landscapes and scenes of daily life, and mostly people are my favourite topics. Although I paint sea landscapes inspired by Saint-Tropez area, Provence, with its typical markets, traditions and lights remains my best inspiration. I also love to draw from my emotions and feelings, as with [Not a valid template] and [Not a valid template].
I consider painting an adventure. Every creation is a new challenge to go further and beyond the doors of perception…
