Biography

Graziella Agresti

Graziella was born in Italy. She has been living in Saint-Tropez area for more than thirty years. She has been part of collective exhibitions in the area (Saint-Raphaël, La Croix-Valmer, Roquebrune-sur-Argens, etc.) on several occasions.

In 2008, she was awarded 1st prize in the annual painting contest organised by the city of Sainte-Maxime. In 2010, her first exhibition was entitled « Mediterranean paintings and portraits » and was held at the old Presbytere at Plan de la Tour.

Her attraction for landscapes and daily life scenes from the South of France is key to her inspiration. Reflecting her personality, a balance of strength and sensitivity, her artistic expression mainly focuses on contrasts between the softness of natural light and structured spaces with rigorous perspectives. Her work expresses both elegancy and intimacy, opened to traditional folk scenes.

His two painters reference : Vincent Van Gogh and Cézanne.
